With an education background in computer science, software engineering, and business administration, I bring a breadth of skills to the table from my experiences in a variety of industry and academic roles: forming and leading software development teams, establishing sustainable software development processes, business analysis and product management, interoperability and standard development, security and privacy consulting, as well as leading research and discovery projects.

Integration and interoperability, especially the privacy and security aspects, have been a consistent thread in my career and I have extensive experience in these areas, from contributing to standard development and implementation guides to implementing and testing specifications within real products.

More recently, I have been focusing on the use cases around managing and enforcing patient consent in the realm of healthcare and social services.

I generally work as an independent contractor and am always looking for interesting new projects in healthcare, social services, and e-commerce.
